Looking for answers to your burning FUEL questions? You have come to the right place! What sets FUEL aside from other personal chefs? FUEL is focused on individualized menus that will create a wonderful balanced way of living for you and your family everyday. Meals are designed from fresh, often local and organic ingredients offering you the highest quality within your budget. We treat your family like our own and offer the ultimate success for your body. FUEL is also focused on the development of Diabetes and Obesity programs locally and nationally and works closely with different organizations to help cure these diseases. Where are the meals prepared? FUEL cooks in your home. So it truly is home-cooked food. Imagine you will never have to tell a friend or visitor or even your mother differently when serving a guest! As well, your food will be as fresh as possible in your own home. How does Fuel come up with its pricing? Each individual and family is different. Some people are looking for the ultimate in gourmet as well as more demanding menus including macrobiotic, organic or vegan diets. These requirements as well as the travel time, number of family members and appetites involved ultimately determine the cost per client. Does FUEL offer any other services? Yes, FUEL offers consultations on meal plans as well as pantry/kitchen organization. Most people find that they need some help adjusting to a healthier lifestyle and that often means cleaning out the old and setting up a good plan for the future. As well, FUEL will cater your small dinner, cocktail party, family get together or other event. Do you use my pots and pans? Yes, FUEL brings their own knives, but most of your kitchens accessories will be used. A proper cutting board and simple set of cookware will suffice. Do I have to be home when FUEL is cooking? No, however you are welcome to watch and learn, or merely be in the midst. Company is always welcome, however, not required. Most often clients are not at home, in which case a key is left with the chef with specific instruction. Are you licensed? Yes. How do I pay? Cash, check or money order. Do you sell Gift Certificates? Yes, please e-mail or call our office for more information. What is your cancellation policy? 72 hours notice is required. Otherwise, you will be charged for the service. If service is maintained monthly, you can hold your service for up to a 4 week period, with proper 72 hour notice, but no refunds will be offered if service is discontinued mid-month.
